On 22nd October 2020 our darling daughter Nina died in her sleep the day after her first birthday. Nina was a happy, healthy girl and her sudden departure from this world has left us devastated. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Nina’s post-mortem was unable to find the cause of her death, and we await further test results in the coming months. There is a chance that no cause will be found, and her death will be recorded as SUDC – Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood.

SUDC affects around 40 families in England and Wales each year, and we are fundraising for SUDC UK to fund research into unexplained child deaths, and also for the Lullaby Trust who offer support to bereaved families and have helped us to cope since Nina died.

Nina’s funeral will take place on 25th November and we ask that donations are made instead of sending flowers.
